What are the rules of the group?

We don’t have ‘rules’ as such but do have group norms and values.

Our groups use the Alternatives to Suicide charter to aid us to have deeply human conversations that are free from risk assessment and clinical intervention. You are welcome to read through the charter before coming to group (but it is not required).

At the beginning of each group our facilitators go over how the group works and the values that we try to uphold. If conversations during group do shift away from the group norm (for example if someone tries to give advice), our facilitators will guide the discussion back to a curious, non-judgemental, and non-medical place.
